Mariona’s oil painting series “Sungazers” examines themes of identity, spirituality, immigration and systemic racism with colorful hope. The series brings together family members from both Mariona’s native Barcelona and the United States, where she currently resides in an attempt to reconcile both worlds and understandings of Home.
